  • Of the Origin of Esoteric Teachings "The so called 'esoteric' teaching was transmitted orally and even fixed in writing, often in a coded way from the Wise men who made certain that Knowledge did not become a tool for power and domination. It is said that the library of Alexandria held numerous such books in which was transcribed the knowledge of men who had had Contacts. ... For each era of Humanity, this Inner Revelation must adapt to the Path already covered and express itself in a new language."

  • Limits and Possibilities of the Esoteric Initiatory Systems Keys concerning Qabalistic, Spagyric and Alchemical paths are given. "Each student on the Path has in mind the initiation which he expects will allow him to master his inner worlds, and especially the one on the level of the heart that gives a conscious contact between the little king of the Earth and the Inner Self. You must understand that the authentic Initiation is not given by anyone but the student himself, and more precisely by his Inner Self. It is said: 'When the student is ready, the master will appear'."

  • The Preparation of a Powerful Spagyric Elixir without a Laboratory The occult powers of mistletoe are legendary, but, oak mistletoe is rare -- here is a practical solution that requires no laboratory work (well, almost).

Articles by Rick Grimes

Rick Grimes was Editor-in-Chief of The Stone, the newsletter of the former PON and served on the Board of Directors as Director of External Affairs. Rick studied with Frater Albertus, and is a skilled artist.

  • An Interview with Curt Kobylarz-Schmidt Curt was the Director of Research for the LABORA (Laboratory Alchemy) research project. A popular instructor at our seminars, Curt speaks here on his views on Alchemy, his joyous journey along the Path, and reveals some Keys on the Dry Way and the Wet Way in Alchemy.

  • Alchemical Gardening The lessons that can be learned from the common tomato are unsuspected by most students of Life and Evolution (Alchemy). Rick shares ideas which he developed after years of study with Frater Albertus, and later on his own. He invites you to share your ideas and experiences for upcoming articles.

Articles by Russ House

Russ was the President of The Philosophers of Nature from 1995-1999. He formerly taught laboratory alchemy for AMORC's Rose-Croix University International.

  • An Interview with Adam McLean Adam McLean mailed the first issue of a quarterly journal in the Fall of 1978. Two decades after its birth The Hermetic Journal can be recognized as a landmark among modern alchemical endeavors. It served as an important vehicle for alchemical studies for 15 years. Soon after the launch of his journal, Adam created The Magnum Opus series, which gave students and collectors access to handcrafted, hand-colored alchemical books. In 1995, Adam created the internet-based Alchemy Virtual Library.

  • Eggs-o-tericism: The Egg in Spagyrics and Alchemy a collection of information regarding Alchemical experimentation on the lowly egg. For the most part, the egg has been overlooked in the classical Alchemical literature, just as it is presently seldom used in the modern pharmacoepia.

  • Fluorescence in Metallic Oils A brief paper on fluorescence, under black light, of antimony, gold, silver, and other metallic oils.

  • Points of Balance An attempt to interpret the philosophical tenets of the PON. "Some would condemn us, saying that if we convey the truths of Alchemy, we profane the Divine Science, and that if we do not, we are advertising falsely. With the warmest of fraternal greetings, I will pose a paradox. One law of Nature well understood is worth a thousand recipes with no understanding, for even if the recipes ‘work’, the alchemist has not evolved. Paradoxically, experimentation with the recipes may provide the basis for the realization of the law. It is not against the law to point the way to the Temple of Light, but we must let each one have the Joy of Realization in absolute freedom, without Guru, without Master, without Priest, for each is the 'son of their deeds'."

  • An Interview with Orval Graves With a secret formula used by The Comte St. Germaine, and historical information about Alchemical research at A.M.O.R.C. in the 1940's.

  • An Interview with John Reid III John elaborates on his work on Spagyrics "The Minor Opus", and provides details not given in his printed work.

  • Force Fields and Fulcanelli, "At that time, I had an experience which was both physical and 'subtle' which convinced me that the distillation of amalgams can create a force field of significant proportions. Further, I was satisfied by certain facts of the experiment that there was no self-delusion nor expectation of an experience on my part, and that the force field induces chemical changes within the operator."

Articles by Mark Stavish

Mark was the Director of Research for the ORA Project (Occult Research and Application) for PON.

  • ABRAHADABRA: Some Thoughts on The Word "In the end, however, while the answers may be different, the effects of unraveling the mystery of abrahadrabra will be the same in each of us, as it will be a further increase in our understanding of the Interior Light, and the expression of our Divinity."

  • ORA Project: A Followup to the Lucid Dreaming Project "The techniques described are among the simplest and most effective we know of for attaining inner resonance, and as stated several times, with little addition to your daily schedule as they are performed for a few minutes at night prior to sleep, and even if desired, for a minute or so in the morning upon awakening. Their purpose is to attune each of us to the specific qualities of the day - either through astrological symbols or Hebrew letters - or other archetypal qualities as expressed through the twelve simply and three mother letters of Hebrew."

  • ORA Project: A Qabalistic Guide to Astral Projection and Lucid Dreaming "Unlike other methods of projection, through regular practice, the method outlined here will in most cases work gently and progressively, i.e. increased dreaming, then lucid dreaming, and finally astral projection, thus allowing for an acclimation of consciousness to these new states of being."

  • An Interview with Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki has illumined tens of thousands of students in the methods of the Western Mystery Traditions in her various roles of teacher, lecturer, and author. In addition to writing ten books, she is the founder and Director of Studies of Servants of the Light (SOL), one of the world’s leading esoteric schools.
